The Teacher: CELIA ABERNETHY
I was born and grew up on Long Island, New York and have been in Italy since 1994. I now live in Lecco , on lake Como. I have worked in the fields of fashion, graphic design and website and data integration programming as well as online marketing. I have been a full time teacher since 2006 with C.E.L.T.A.certification. My hobbies and interests include painting, design, and hand crafts. I also love sports, in particular running and tennis.
My goal: I hope to satisfy the needs and help improve the communication skills of each student and make learning English simple, easy and enjoyable.
WHERE ARE THE LESSONS HELD?
In Lecco, Via dell ‘Isola, I have created a study space in my home where I can host one-to-one or small group lessons. Otherwise, I can come to your office, for individual or group lessons. STUDY MATERIAL
Textbooks and study material are selected according to the student’s needs and goals which will be evaluated at the first meeting.
FREQUENCY
Every lessons is 60 minutes or 90 minutes. Lessons can be held once or twice a week, special schedules can be accommodated. Time and frequency will be determined according to the student’s needs and goals.

Individual: € 30,00 /hour (at my office, +vat)
Corporate or group lessons: from € 40,00 /hour (+vat, please call for an estimate)
I have an Italian tax code and vat umber.
